The entire City Space offering is a fun homage to the original Space series I grew up on. I love the modular aspects of the build. The only thing missing is a place to mount the lab end caps when not in use. That would make it absolutely perfect.

I'm loving the whole current line of city space it's fun to pop around the different ship sections and then to connect it to one of the bases I'm enjoying sending my little space mini into the final frontier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set was perfect for my space loving 8 year old. He was so excited about this galactic space ship! The instructions were clear and he was able to complete it with no assistance. My two sons have been playing with it non stop since it’s been built . There is so many ways to play with this LEGO set! He loved the figurines that came with it also. A must have for LEGO lovers!

I quite liked building this set. After doing the Renegade and its modular system I wanted to try the Neo Classic Space set which also boasts a modular set up.
Each part of this build was cool and there were some interesting techniques. I think I prefer the Renegade's interlocking system a bit better as it enables more customization, but I do like how this set is essentially a mobile base. I like the look of the airlock system too. The support tiles (shown in the last pages of the instructions) do greatly aid the swooshability of this set.
I have built the smaller ships in this series and I plan to see if they can also be connected and if that increases the amount of customization.
The more I interact with this theme or sub-theme, I feel that it is a worthy successor to Classic Space, having the same feel, open ended story/mission as well as fostering creativity and imagination.
I think that this set hits all the marks, which is rare these days, I think the price is reasonable for what you get and that it delivers on all of its promises.

Good to have for Lego collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The more I involved to build it, the more I love it. Great design with detailed items. This set is fun to build together with family or friends. The whole section hold together. Whoever love spaceship, for sure they will love this set. Everything is well made and detailed. But if you want to upgrade to next level, you will invest more different set to combine whole spaceship set.
