This was a great build and I loved the way it sounds when you put your cell phone inside it. The old time sound is a nice touch.

Throwback to the good old days

I bought this kit for myself as a gift for Father's Day because my wife refused to get me the M1 Abrams MBT I asked for! Overall it was a fairly challenging build. There were a few times looking at the directions that I forgot a piece or to manipulate some section and had to go back, take it apart, make the correction and continue on. But that's all part of the fun! The only drawback I have is that there are only snippets on the sound block and not full songs. Small price to pay though. When finished it really took me back to growing up and hanging out with friends listening to the radio! Good times, great oldies! Definitely a cool build and one I'd recommend for any Gen Xer out there looking for some cool throwback from way back!

This is for my 13 year old granddaughter. I have been buying 18+ LEGO sets for several years now. She has no problem with them.

Deceiving radio

I loved the build it was super fun. I guess I may not have understood the description or it was a little out of pocket. I thought it would a little speaker inside to hook your phone up to and be able to play your playlist. It does not. That was disappointing however still worth every penny!
