I had never considered a hot air balloon to be Christmas oriented so a little quirky but it works. I did not get the mail at the end of the ice fishing pole though.
I liked the build of the heavier snow roofs on the building. The light inside the hot air balloon was cute.

This is such a adorable holiday set to add to a LEGO christmas town. Easy to assemble. Such cute characters and looks real. The hot air balloon is so cute and the mail service is a nice add for Santa's gifts. Love this set.

I thought this was a very fun build. I learned a new way to make a shelf while making one of the rooms and had fun coming up with backstories for the elves.
I do wonder why they decided this set was going to have a light brick for the hot air balloon. I understand that the balloon has fire in it but I think the candle that came out this year would have been a better choice for the light brick. Balloon was easy enough to modify so It doesn't light up.
