Quiet and effective. This unit replaced a five year old previous model. Much quieter on the highest fan speed. Clears woodsmoke from the room very quickly.

My son recommended this air purifier due to the air quality in my area. I was having problems with my sinuses and breathing because of the resent fires in California. Even with my doors and windows closed it was a problem. I’ve had my system for a month and it has mad a tremendous difference in air quality in my home. I’m interested in looking at the air and humidifier combination system for my bedroom now.

I tried other brands but BlueAir stands out. Except at the highest speed which is rarely used it is very quiet. Extremely easy to connect to Wifi. The app is very useful and user friendly. Very satisfied and impressed.

Just purchased this air purifier and I am very satisfied with the set up and performance so far! This is by far the largest and most powerful air purifier I’ve ever used.

Unit is okay. wifi & childlock are mid

It's a great product no doubt, only criticism I have about the product is that the child lock still allows the product to be turned off via the touch panel. The child lock should disable the entire touch panel. Other than that, the purifying itself is outstanding. The app is mid in terms of connectivity. You'll be required to perform resets on the device as it will sporadically disconnect from the app. These steps worked for me issued by a BlueAir service rep.
1. Kindly plug the unit into a power outlet, turn it on, and press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
2. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
3. Uninstall the app from your device, then reinstall it and log in again.

Hope this helps before you think about buying this appliance.

User interface / controls are not intuitive

The controls on this are not intuitive at all. If you have to read the instructions just to increase the fan speed there is a problem. I have a degree in computer science and have a hard time figuring this out. The design is terrible. Absolutely terrible. Its a fan...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for our large open space for living/kitchen/dining and an additional play area. We’ve also moved this to other rooms a couple times and it’s helpful to see quickly see the indicator showing us how clean the air is. A future version would be helpful to have a handle almost like how you move luggage. When it was new and I wasn’t familiar yet I tried to reposition it in the living room, but when I tilted it to use the wheels it went rolling out of my control for a minute. We've since gotten a better grasp of moving it but having a handle would be way easier to navigate.
We keep this next to my dog crate and we no longer smell “dog” when we come home.
