Best Mic Arm I ever had !!! ok - it is my first

I received this arm about 2 weeks ago and LOVE IT! true, its the first mic arm i have ever had...
Still - it makes me feel like an expert - here's what i like: i mounted it low and to between my two monitors... i have a Shure MX7+ mic on it - best for me is how coming in low to my speech area (aka my mouth) - it doesnt show up on the zoom meetings i have - I didnt buy it for zoom meetings as my over the ear boom mic i thought was fine.. it isn't compared to the Shure. I bought it for training voice clones and narrating my social media - wow - its impressive! no noise, completely smooth - built like a rocket and very durable..
I love how i can quickly push this arm away and bring it right back when needed.
PRO TIP: I was worried when the mic arm would start drooping which didn't make sense because it is rated to carry far more weight than this mic...i started to put a bottle under it and consider a return... . Then I used the supplied allen wrench to tighten the dropping joint - in my world - tightening is clockwise looking down at the allen wrench. NO NO NO... in this world, you have to turn that allen wrench COUNTER CLOCKWISE to tighten it... and wow - what a difference - better than viagra- that arm now stays up just great. I couldn't be happier with this arm and we i see the "Real Pros" in their videos with their big bulky mic arms... i just think - "You look old school and primative - no way you need that big distraction in your shot..."...

This mic arm works great. Smooth to rotate and can hold heavy. It’s sleek and minimal looking and the cable management is fantastic as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
