So far so good. I have had this processor for a couple of months now and have used it for grating cheese and making a variety of pickled veggies. Powers through whatever you have to slice or grate. Works great !

After my original (1978) 14-cup died I waited a few years to replace it as we were downsizing. Finally, I missed it enough that I shopped for another. This 7-cup version is perfect for the smaller meals I make these days and is so much lighter it is easy for me to get in and out of my pantry! Yet it remains stable on my counter and works beautifully! I happily recommend it.

I have a mini food processor by Cuisinart. I now need something larger as I have not got time to waste on grating and slicing by hand any longer. This 7-cup model has exceeded all my expectations. The only issue I have had was figuring out how to put the cover properly on the processor bowl so I could use it. Once I got past that, it has been most excellent.
