Better than Miele

We bought the 500 laundry pair 6 years ago. We've had to service it repeatedly due to DR error. The design makes it impossible to clean on your own - in terms of accessing the sump pump. I've maintained it and cleaned it monthly. I am so disappointed as I compared it to other compact machines and decided to go Bosch as the reviews were so good at the time of purchase. I could have bought a cheap dryer at half the price and had it last longer. Very disappointed & wouldn't buy again. Do not recommend unless you want to spend tons of cash & are willing to have your dryer fail repeatedly.

Excellent for a compact ductless dryer

Compared to the full size ducted dryer that we had before, it has everthing we need but does not get the washing bone dry and, if over-filled, the clothes can be crumpled. It is very quiet, with numerous settings and we love it. Ideal for a small space, or if you have no ducting. Takes a little getting used to for someone used to a ducted dryer

Excellent Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving our new dryer! For a compact unit this dryer has handled everything to date. The drying time is a bit longer due to how it operates. The outstanding variety of cycles along with the Bosch app far outweigh any downside.

Nice compact dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good: takes up small space, doesn't need a dryer vent. World like I expect a Bosch product to, with one exception: the bad: when drying sheets, blankets, or anything bulky, tends to dry the outside of a wet bundle. Very difficult to get blankets or comforters dry.

500 Series is Terrible

A condo I purchased came with the stacking 500 series washer and dryer and they are the biggest pieces of garbage. They can't handle much of a load and the dryer rarely dries anything completely and there's no way for this machine to be set to dry for a chosen amount of time. It stops when it thinks the clothes are dry. Towels, for example come out more damp than if I'd used them to dry off after taking a shower. I'll be replacing these ASAP.

A nice dryer for compact spaces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit because we could not find a standard sized unit that would fit in our laundry closet. We also purchased the 500 Series Washer. The dryer takes a bit more time to dry our clothes than a standard unit but it has worked well with lots of cycle options. Our clothes smell fresher and cleaner than they ever did before with our old Whirlpool units. If this unit performs as well and as long as our Bosch dishwasher has (over 8 years old now) we are going to be happy customers for sure. Thank you for making high quality products with good customer support!
