500 Series Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes at least 3 times as long as regular dryers. Often times, I have to use timed drying because it thinks clothes are dry but they're not. It's annoying when dryer stops like this - I think it's running but its not so a lot of time is wasted when I have to restart the dryer. I have to empty the receptacle manually - for some reason the installer did not set up drainage hose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loving our new dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our Bosch 300 series for the 500 series and absolutely love it. It dryes better than that 300 series and being able to provide feedback through the app. allows for it to correct itself in future drying cycles.

Not made aware of emptying condenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the machine but I didn't realize nor was it made aware anywhere that the condenser needs to be emptied pretty much after every cycle! Now I need to hard wire it to the drain when I get a chance.

500 Series is Terrible

A condo I purchased came with the stacking 500 series washer and dryer and they are the biggest pieces of garbage. They can't handle much of a load and the dryer rarely dries anything completely and there's no way for this machine to be set to dry for a chosen amount of time. It stops when it thinks the clothes are dry. Towels, for example come out more damp than if I'd used them to dry off after taking a shower. I'll be replacing these ASAP.

Nice compact dryer

World like I expect a Bosch product to, with one exception: the bad: when drying sheets, blankets, or anything bulky, tends to dry the outside of a wet bundle. Very difficult to get blankets or comforters dry.

Excellent for a compact ductless dryer

Compared to the full size ducted dryer that we had before, it has everthing we need but does not get the washing bone dry and, if over-filled, the clothes can be crumpled. It is very quiet, with numerous settings and we love it. Ideal for a small space, or if you have no ducting. Takes a little getting used to for someone used to a ducted dryer
