horrible dryer. DO NOT BUY!

This is the worst dryer. Just plain horrible. I wish I never bought it, and I'm now looking for a replacement. The controls are useless, the ventless system is ridiculous and heats up and increases the humidity in my condo. Doesn't dry clothes properly, so I have to put my laundered items on a drying rack. And oh, the thing needs to be maintained every couple of weeks because water pools internally, and lint is strewn throughout the machine. How did this machine ever pass quality control? Garbage. Can't wait to put the thing at the end of the driveway.

We are happy with our new appliances. However, we needed an electrician to change our plugs. The stacking kit is on order and we are approaching week 4 now. Not good service.

Works Great!

We found this dryer to work very well and doesn't damage or shrink clothing. Simply give the clothing a little fluff/shake once it's done and everything is dry.

Bosch 300 series washer/condensation dryer

This is a really great product with some design flaws which is why I can't rate above 3 stars.
First, they now have it where you can't plug in the washer to the dryer, they have a converter that you plug in to a 240-four prong outlet. Fine except the plug sticks out now a good 4 inches, which when space is tight is not a good thing. This is a newer design feature but it's really a poor design in my books.
Second, the dryer now requires a drain for the condensation line. I believe it used to emply into a tray if I remember the earlier specs. Would have been nice to have this feautre made prominent when I was looking at buying it. The hose keeps slipping out of the drain we have installed and the hose itself is just awkward.
The stacking tray is a nightmare to set up/use. You have to drill 4 holes into the washer, then put the kit on and drill it onto the machine. Other stacking kits on machines you just drill or they have the holes already in and you can clip the kit on in the back.
The BestBuy I ordered my appliances from required the delivery drivers to install the stacking kit/set up the machines. Again, this is useless as this delays their deliveries and a lot of these guys are just strictly delivery--they don't carry tools or have the know-how to set the machines up, especially the stacking tray.
The machines themselves work great so no complaints there.
If you get this please think with having a tradesperson/very handy person do the setups before you order and take into account you'll need a 4-prong 240 volt outlet and at least 6 inches from a wall for the setup as well as having the stacking kit installed.

DO NOT BUY

So upset with Best Buy and Bosch for selling this dryer. Less than a year of owning it and it repeatedly leaks a tonne of water all over our basement floor, drenching everything through and causing water damage. The 'DR' light comes on and it stops working and we are just left with a lake of water to clean up- which is very difficult as we have a small space and not enough places to hang all the sodden items. I am very diligent in cleaning out both the lint trap, all the lint in and around the doors, the sensor, and also the hidden condensate unit (which you are supposed to remove and wash every couple of loads (!?) something they don't tell you when you buy....) and yet still this problem persists. I also make sure there is no kinks in the draining hose and that it has a straight run. Frustratingly, it is not every time, sometimes you are lucky and a load goes through, but at other times it is water city. I feel like the only safe way to use it is to turn it on, pull up a chair and watch it for its 2 hour run time.
It is still under manufacturer warranty so we have had it serviced- which made it run for a couple more times before it flooded the basement again. The service man said no one should ever buy these units unless they have no other choice. Despite cleaning, lint makes its way into the sump pump unit, only accessible by removing the side of the dyer and cleaning out (which is what the service man did).
We researched a lot of reviews before buying and thought we were making an informed, good choice. (Interesting now to note that a lot of the positive reviews on this site have notices indicating they are part of a paid promotion). Our staircase is so narrow going to the basement and there wasn't a working vent so our options in dryers were limited. Even though this was very expensive, we thought we would invest in it and it would last us years- we thought Bosch was a reliable name.
But now this is a nightmare. It is so stressful to deal with and I feel so hopeless; money is so tight and we can't afford another dryer right now and probably not for a long time. Best Buy only has a 30 day return policy, which is a joke, and I can't in good conscience sell this. So now we are stuck with an expensive dryer that we are afraid to use, having to rely on the manufacturers warranty to provide regular maintenance through service.
I hope this is helpful for other potential buyers. I always try to weigh the good reviews against the bad when making purchases- so it's hard for one single review to have sway- but knowing what I know now, if there was even a small chance that my dryer could cause these problems, I wouldn't buy it.

Wrong plug

The machine comes with a European plug. Add the cost of an electrician to change it to a Canadian plug.

Bosch 300 Condenser Dryer

This dryer is a welcome addition to my Condo. The lack of a vent pipe makes for a practical elimination of an eyesore in my bathroom. The size is also practical in a limited space. The dryer has performed excellently with a range of settings for every type of fabric that I would ever wash.
This dryer coupled with a Bosch washer makes for a competent working duo with the dryer above the washer.
Both of these machines are working excellently, with excellent cleaning and drying. The electrical usage appears to be slightly better than my previous washer and dryer.

DO NOT BUY BOSCH DRYERS

I was sold the Electric Stacking Bosch Dryer to replace the set that broke down after 7 years and the new dryer is a disaster. It does not dry more than ‘1’ towel at a time - or it just stops. You have to stay home - and ‘reset’ it every 12 mins. Takes about 90 mins. To dry 3 regular towels -
