Good dryer but......clothes are still damp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this dryer, but I have to put everything on extra dry. Normal dry just doesn't dry the clothes, they come out damp.

Please with Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works pretty well even though it's a ventless dryer. When the cycle is complete - if you fell the clothes they seem damp - but if you take them out they cool off and are pretty dry. Overall pleased with results.

Very clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was concerned about the ventless operation. I was very pleased to realize, I had no need to worry. There was less lint with the ventless than with the vented style.

Has not worked since purchase

I've used condensing dryers in the past, so I was excited to get the 800 series and disappointed when the pump did not function and water was not being evacuated from the unit. It has been leaking ever since and I'm now in the process of having various components replaced under manufacturers warranty. That warranty is about to expire and thankfully I purchased an extended warranty from the reseller. When these work they are good, and Bosch is usually a good purchase. It seems my luck ran out.

Clothes ball up and don’t dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this dryer now for 4 months. The dryer rolls, balls sheets up into one big ball and doesn't dry them when it thinks they are dry. Even taking the sheets out half way and separating them from the one big ball and putting them back in still doesn't dry them completely unless extra dry is selected. It also turns clothes like t shirts inside out when drying. My biggest complaint is with the dry cycle for cotton and permanent press. When "dry" is selected, most, if not all the clothes are damp, not dry. I wish Bosch would make a software update so these things don't happen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Any negative reviewers likely didn't read the instructions. There are a lot of settings (a good thing) and if you don't set them, you won't have dry laundry. Set them (once) and you'll have perfect laundry every time.

Outstanding Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little concerned about other reviews saying the clothes didn't get dry with this condensing dryer. After using this machine for a few months, I am totally satisfied with it's performance. The regular cotton setting gets everything 99.9% dry. Laying the clothes out for a few minutes before folding gets them to 100%. The clothes are in better condition, and show less machine wear. AND, if I want them to come out super warm and toasty, just put the machine on the "Extra Dry" setting. Quite happy with the quality of the build, and hope the machine lasts many, many years.

Sheets ball up and don’t dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 6 months of use, this dryer balls sheets up and says they are dry when they aren't. When taken out and separated from balled up, and put in again to dry, it continues to ball up the sheets. Other clothes have to be put on extra dry to get them even close to being dry. Puts out a lot of heat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
