I love TurboTax

TurboTax is very good. I have used it for many years. I like it and how it explains everything so that filing my tax return is easy. I was surprised that I have to pay tax after having a capital gain in 2024 after everything I read said my income was too low to pay, but Chat GBT explained that although a capital gain itself isn't taxed it does raise my normal taxable income.

Turbo tax is good

I did this for dad this year, so it is my first time using turbo tax. I had to do amended return. I feel uneasy about it because I already did the amended return with turbo tax for 2024. The first time I did it the IRS never received the return. They received my check, but not the amended return. The IRS confused the situation further by sending ME a check for the amount i owe them without sending me any letter with the check. The IRS rep told me to file again; so, I did today. I feel uneasy. that is why I gave turbo tax a #3 rating

I had problems getting downloaded turbo tax on my PC. It was not compatible with Microsoft. It took me a whiole to find out how to by-pass downloading. Once I got it fixed Turbo tax worked like usual. been a user for a very long time.

Turbo Tax is OK

Hard to review inputs. Annoying not to be charged for state e-file upfront. Too much constant repetitive hard sell on thing you don't need or want.

Easy to use. Had issue with my computer saying it could not do upgrade because another program was downloading something. You would not let me e-file until upgrade was done. Suggest you let me make that decision & e-file at my command.
