TurboTax gets the job done.

Everything was great except it tried to up to a deluxe for now reason and for some reason it says I don't qualify for a property tax rebate in August so now I have to fill the stuff out online again. There's something wrong with that process.

Turbo Tax is easy to use and understand. Customer Service representative Noi, in Chicago, was not only knowledgeable and thorough, she was friendly and smiled often. Yes, I could detect her smile through the phone!

STUPID E-FILE IS DUMB!!

Everything was pretty good except for EFile. Out of the last SEVERAL years, I've only been able to get EFile to work one time and that was for tax year 2023. I submitted EFile at least 6 times and it waws rejected every time. Ultimately I mailed the STUPID thing in and the IRS can just deal with it. Not my fault it doesn't work. I followed the steps in the IDME, got our PIN's and submitted it through the app, even though the PIN numbers are 6 digits and TurboTax only allows for 5 digits...I suspect that's part of the problem. But I can't fix it, so they can get it snail mail and then deal with paper cpoies from there. I HATE this process...it seems to be part of the WOKE society we live in today, only works when it wants to and rejects normal, reasonable, and prudent inputs.

Filling in the information for the 1099s were confusing and frustrating. Furthermore, it asked me to fill out the W-2 like it was a 1099, which should not have been necessary and only added to the frustration.
