I've used Turbo tax for over 15 years and it is getting clunky and less friendly. I bought the pc installed program, I feel like I spent half of my time clicking through Turbo Tax trying to upsale services to me that I don't need or have already basically paid for in the price of the tax program.

I trust Turbo Tax results in the correct tax submission. The software, however, has been somewhat unreliable resulting in me having to reenter all the data after it lost all my original work before the online filing step. Navigating through the various steps is not always intuitive and caused me some frustration.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

When starting TT if an update is available you have to install it before proceeding. and it takes forever. when loading a file the ap closes. then you restart it and try again and it works. the investment income part is very strange to navigate. you start with, e.g. interest. it goes to a page with all your investment income payers you pick a payer to review then it goes to the screen where you pick payers for download or not if you pick "skip import: it goes to the screen to pick intrest/dividends/sales/whatever you pick interest again and it goes to a place to enter a new payer.. After update, it forgets information about RMDs and calculates tax with penalty as if no RMD taken.
