Turbo Tax for Mac needs work, but I think I filed.

Once I got going, it was better than 3 stars, but until then it was a nightmare. You never sent the copy I purchased late last year, but a wonderful support person helped me get it. Until then I was struggling along with a new model of TT that I hated — I think it is called "online". I like the returns-version that I have used for the last 20 years. I'm on the Mac version, and had all sorts of issues trying to file — asking for a state return (WA has none), saying it needed on new version (and downloading was not easy).

Amazing Work, Would Have Been Lost Without Her!

I used TurboTax to file this year, and had help from Live Expert Urusha Shrestha who walked me through the process of filing our taxes. We had a more complicated time due to moving and getting married and being in separate states but she knew exactly how to help us and walked me through every step. She made the process easy and took the time to make sure everything was accurate and submitted correctly for us. She was amazing!!

Please fix the problem with the "&" symbol

Imported 1099 data from my investment account often includes the "&" symbol in the names of companies (e.g. Johnson & Johnson and Wells Fargo & Co.) For some reason Turbotax chokes on the "&" symbol.

This year, I had some difficulty buying your product online. I did have to deal with someone and they were able to send me a link and get me back on track. However, I was unable for 2024 to copy over my information from 2023 or 2022 -- it kept saying unable to load??? Both the PDF and the Software. I had to re-enter all my information again. This is the first time that has happened in many many years. I still think it is a good product, but maybe I will buy it and download from that next year rather than trying to do it online. Somehow, I was then charged for Advantage - which I did not request. I then had to call again to get a credit issued. That help offered with Advantage used to come with Turbo Tax - but I guess everyone needs to make more money. Overall, I completed my task and it has been sent.
