Purchase DeskTop Version to File Multiple Returns

I paid for on-line version and could not file multiple returns. I paid for desktop version in order to file multiple returns to assist my family. TurboTax needs to clarify it during purchase and process. It caused me to pay double.

Turbotax issue

Finally got it all together. It always takes me several days to get Turbotax and the required operating system to run right for another yearly round. The only use I have for the required operating system is this annual tax preparation, because I do everything else using open source software. This time, the required operating system seemed to want me to buy another round of the required operating system , but this is not OK for my very fine scientific machine. I cannot justify buying another computer system just for this. Please add me to the growing list of open source users that would like to use Turbotax with our usual operating system!

TurboTax creeps backwards with user experience

Every year I file taxes with TurboTax, up until this year I've bragged about how easy it is no matter how complicated the taxes were that year. This year, it was harder than expected. I had to call support for help, which worked out great. But I was pulling my hair out before I broke down and called looking for education credits help. Next, an IP PIN error caused a rejection. I was surprised because TurboTax checks taxes for errors -- why not tell me this was missing? I've never had to enter this before. Then, once I established by account, found an IP PIN, there was nothing in Help to tell me where to enter this. Help topics looked like a link, but that link didn't go anywhere. Sloppy user experience there when taxes are a anxious time for anyone, especially in today's political climate (yes, IRS is now political).
