Still a good choice for filing

In general, TurboTax remains a simple way to deal with taxes. This year there was an issue connecting from TurboTax to Raymond James which never got resolved, but the particular form in question only had a few lines to copy so it didn't matter a lot.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo tax still needs work on appl (printing)

Most of it was easy. Took some time to find out if deductions where available, this could have been easier to do whit better explanations. The MOST PROBLMATIC was not being able to print out the final filing forms/paperwork!

TurboTax has incorrect instructions on Amended Tax

I got a revised 1099-INT from my broker after I had efiled via TurboTax. TT made the amendment very easy to create. I would give them 5 stars. But then, after I efiled the Amended return, TT told me I needed to print some forms and send them to the IRS. So I pushed "gererate forms" and all I got was 2024 quarterly voucher for estimated taxes. TT said my amendment wasn't complete until I sent this in. That is totally bogus. I've already paid ALL my taxes AND my amendment shows the IRS owes me a refund. So I certainly don't need to send the IRS thousands of $$ that I've already paid. And there is no one to tell me why this is voucher is needed for the amended return or what to do unless I want to pay MORE for a tax consultant. No thanks! 3 stars!

As always, pretty easy to use. My only complaints are the entry repair during federal checks and state taxes.
There was no way that I could see to go easily from "we found this error" to the page where the correction needed to be made.
For state taxes, there needs to be a "I don't have state taxes here" button.

I've been using Turbo Tax since the very beginning. It's easy and straightforward, even when my tax situation was much more complicated. I recommend it to all my friends and family.
