Now better for expats

I liked the new correct dealing with Social Security (and its Canadian equivalents) for Canadian ressidents without having to resort to overrides. A slight annoyance (for me) was that lack of resolution in the arithmetic in line 3f of form 1116 led me to have to make a payment of $1.00 to the IRS when another decimal place would have left me with nothing oweing.

Ok, but be prepared to pay extra

Turbo Tax is a decent product, does what it is supposed to do. Unfortunately, they nickle and dime you for everything. I though I bought a package that included state, but ended up paying $40 for state plus and extra $25 to file. I have a basic return with standard deductions. It took 45 seconds to go through the state return, it's pretty ridiculous pricing.
