My previous AM4 was an ASUS TUF and it worked flawlessly so I stuck with the brand, even though it was pricier than some other competitors' and it was on sale when I bought it.
It POST fine after my new installation of 9800X3D and new 1000W PSU, but same case. Everything seems to work except the wireless drivers as they were not recognized by a new installation of Win 11 Pro. Luckily, with a wired connection, I was able to get to the internet. I tried to download the drivers straight from the ASUS website for the WLAN but it just won't install.
Also, one of the M.2 port won't recognize a brand new 1TB drive.
Seems to crash a lot as well but not sure if that's because of the mobo. GPU (Asus Prime RTX 5070) drivers are up to date.
Finally, when shutting down from Windows, at times, it doesn't completely shut off. I usually have to hard shut the PSU to prevent it up turning back on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
