NVMe storage is noticeably faster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went from an older spinning hard drive to this Samsung 990 EVO Plus drive, and the comparison in boot-up time and running regular tasks is like night and day. In addition, my office is much quieter without the spinning noise and occasional clunking of the traditional hard disk drive. I am especially interested in the longevity of this drive, but being solid state it should be much more reliable than a spinning disk. Time will tell on that, but so far very impressed with the NVMe technology. The only downsides I see is that there are faster models available for not much more money, and the number of NVMe slots on a typical computer is fewer than you might find compared to older, slower SATA connectors.. If you need a huge amount of storage you might need to stick to older spinning hard drives, but if you want a fast boot drive or system drive, these are the ones to get.

Speedy SSD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an OEM Samsung NVME SSD that came with my laptop. As with any NVME SSD, it’s not limited to laptops, and can be used with any computer that has a NVME port. The drive was packaged well and securely. Installation was same as with any other NVME SSD. Once I cloned my drives and installed the new one, my laptop booted with no issues. No driver was required for use, though I do recommend the Samsung Magician utility. What was immediately evident is the increased speed when my computer loaded. My prior drive wasn’t slow either but this new drive was noticeably faster. The larger storage capacity didn’t hurt either. Can’t speak to longevity yet, but first impressions are great! Assuming it holds up to the test of time, I would highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this ssd hard drive. I installed it in my ps5 and immediately transferred over my full onboard hdd in the span of 10 minutes. I have witnessed no lag in performance nor loading saving times while playing content from the added drive. The drive arrived in easy to open packaging and installed without any difficulties. I highly recommend this and will be using it for future builds / upgrades. I cannot express enough how much this hardware has met and exceeded my expectations.
