The only drive I trust with my data!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been more than a year since I bought my first 4TB SSD from Samsung and I couldn't be happier. I have been using SSDs for years on all of my PCs, Macs and gaming systems, and the only ones that never failed me were from Samsung. That is why I bought the 4TB 990 Pro for my notebook, which only has one NVMe slot. I needed fastest performance and proven reliability. Nothing else comes close. Working with large videos, transferring or storing files is a breeze, and knowledge that my data is stored safe - gives me the the peace of mind I need!

Almost perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the idea of upgrading my PC to and M.2 from a SATA SSD. My SSD is also Samsung. I did a little read and right test and didn't quite get the performance I was hoping for. I placed the M.2 in the slot closest to the cpu, but still no luck. I believe I might need a better mother board, but I was honestly a little bummed at getting half the speeds shown on the outside of the packaging. I know it says "up to 7,150 MB/s. Still though....half is kind of low. BUT with all that said. I do notice a difference in boot up speed and data transfer speed. I was able to reflect everything from my original drive over to this new one pretty quick.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I mainly game on my pc and noticed all my games load a lot quicker. It was super easy to install. The drive is a reliable, high-performance drive, ideal for both everyday and heavy-duty use. It offers solid value given its combination of speed, durability, and Samsung’s reputation for quality. I’m definitely getting another one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the Samsung 990 EVO Plus NVMe SSD (1TB), and it’s been a transformative boost. From installation, it’s clear this SSD is in a league of its own. With read/write speeds up to 7,250/6,300 MB/s, large file transfers, video editing, and gaming are smoother than ever. For anyone working with big files, especially in creative fields, this drive is truly state-of-the-art!.
As a content creator, I regularly handle 4K videos and high-res images, and the difference is huge. My previous SSD would lag on playback, but with the 990 EVO Plus, edits are seamless and exports faster than expected. Gaming is a dream too and load times are practically nonexistent, and there’s no stuttering or lag.
Samsung’s Intelligent TurboWrite 2.0 boosts write speeds during heavy tasks. I noticed this especially with large file transfers and the speed remained high, avoiding the slowdown I’ve seen in other SSDs. Plus, power efficiency and thermal control keep it cool, even during long sessions.
Samsung’s Magician Software is an added bonus, making updates, diagnostics, and health monitoring easy. This SSD has truly upgraded my workflow and gaming setup. If you’re looking for top-tier speed, stability, and efficiency, the Samsung 990 EVO Plus is worth every penny.
