Great product! Easy to assemble and cleans up easily after use! Smoked beef short ribs, 3 racks of pork ribs, and a whole chicken the day before Thanksgiving and yummy!

Terrible quality even after multiple replacements

I purchased this vertical smoker earlier this year. I noticed that cooking recipes were wildly off for duration. I set up 3 different thermometers for inside the smoker. The smoker controls always read much hotter than any other thermometer. When the Pit boss thought it was 225, it was really 190. When the bit boss thought it was 300, it was really 250. All of my thermometers except the pit boss built in thermometer were reading within 3 degrees of each other. I have replaced the temp probe and the control panel. Pit Boss, make this right for me! This is a flagship model for you and the temperature control is terrible. Also, customer support had no instructions for replacing this model's control panel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased the pro series 4 about a year and a half ago. Temp is way off, internal thermometer and keep the front glass clean fixes that. Main issue with this smoker is the door has NEVER sealed properly from the day I bought it! I've taken the door off, regung it tried to adjust the hinges, all with no luck. It still works pretty good but I'm losing a ton of smoke around the door. When this one has finished its life with our family, probably wouldn't buy another pitboss

Nothing but problems. After a year the fan error message. Updating problems for months. Can't talk to anyone. If you need a problem buy this overpriced chest smoker.

Great Grill where's the covers for this grill

i love this grill when are you going to get the covers for this pellet grill or are you even going to make one? i payed a lot of money for this grill thinking i could buy a nice cover for my investment. nobody can give me an answer about the covers.

Bought this about 2 years ago- 3 control boards, 5 ignitors, 3 fans later and the thing still doesn't work. I can't even count how much meat this has ruined quitting in the middle of a cook. DON'T BUY!!!!

I love this smoker

Bought this thing two years ago. Since then, I've smoked ribs, chicken thighs, whole chickens (maybe a dozen), a couple turkeys, a chuck roast, among many other things. But chicken, this thing is absolutely killer for smoking yardbird. I love it.

Don't leave it plugged it, it randomly turns itself on creating a fire hazard. The only option support has is to leave it unplugged (while elsewhere on the web everyone points out it's the control board failing), which renders parts of the app useless. Additionally there are gaps around the door seal. Returning customer highly disappointed and will likely return
