Been working great for years.

I bought this when it first came out. I liked it over series 3 because the computer is not on the bottom of the unit like the series 3 where all the grease drips to. Plus the pot is easy remove and clean. No more vacuuming. Make sure to clean out the pot after each use. I made the mistake of not cleaning it and burned up the auger motor assembly when the hopper started smoking. Fortunately I know how to fix things. I ordered the parts from online and had it back up and running in under 2 weeks. It has been working wonderfully for well over 3 years now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just do It!

I've had mine for 6 months now, smoked several briskets, pork butts, and chickens. It gives a smoke ring as good as any offset. The instructions say to unplug it when not in use. So just follow the instruction manual. Mine came with a crushed corner on the door. I called cust. support and had a new door in 3 days. don't believe all the negative crap you see on this smoker as most of it is paid for negative reviews from competitors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loved it until it caught on fire

I had this thing for almost 2 years and it was a great smoker. I smoked about once a month. 3 days ago I was smoking lamb chops in a cast iron pan and I noticed a flame at the bottom of the unit and the pellets had piled up and clogged the auger. It took two fire extinguishers to get the fire out. I really enjoyed this smoker and I had previously done overnight smokes. I am so thankful it didnt catch my house on fire.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How many blondes does it take to use this smoker?
So far...just one! It is that easy! If I can do it, anyone can be the best bbq pit master around! Thanks Pit Boss!

So far, I am loving this, I have made marinated chicken quarters (didn't take the pic till after 3 were gone) Blocks of cheese,17 tubes of jalapeno cheddar summer sausage and tomorrow about 12 lbs of Jerky. I cut dowel rods the width of the smoker and replaced the grills with the dowel rods and hang the meat off the dowel rods. its low heat so I don't worry about a fire... if its a big concern...just soak the rods in water for an hour or so. Big thing is to remember to keep water in the water pan if you want to keep things moist or juicy

Love my smoker

Loved the ease of knowing your temp of the meat and the temp of the smoker. My family absolutely loved the pork butt I made when we first got the smoker. Can’t wait to try a turkey!
