So far for an electric smoker I did not go wrong, Cleaning up the mess left behind smoking Huli Huli Chicken was easy, messy but easy, Ribs, brats, hot dogs and it takes them without a sweat.

Electric Digital Smoker
on February 5, 2026

I took a chance on Pit Boss 8 years ago, why? Because it had a Five-Year warranty, I was just coming off a 1-year-old Smoke Hallow electric digital smoker that it's digital controller failed, it's warranty was 90 days. This Pit Boss electric digital smoke worked great for four years, then the Controller started having problems. Danson sent me a new Digital Controller and electrical element since I was willing to install it myself. But the new controller had problems too, it wouldn't heat up and hold it. At that point, Danson Sent me a complete New Smoke to replace mine. The New one works great, and I'm back again smoking meats with precisions! Would I recommend the Pit Boss Digital vertical Smoker, ABSOLUTELY YES! If your smoke flavor is not strong enough for you, this Electric Digital Smoker will provide a stronger smoke flavor, why? Because you heat and cook with the Electric, but you smoke with the wood chips or pellets, so more of the smoke is deposited to your meat. Whereas a Pellet smoker heats, smokes and cooks with the pellets, you get less smoke when pellets burn for heat.
