I bought it in August (it's October now), unit already has stopped charging. On paper, it's a great product, but the motor is weak — it won't blend things like ice or dates, and often the protein powder gets stuck at the bottom and not properly mixed. The battery power is also suspect.

Straw hole and a heavy motor in the lid

I was so excited to find a non-plastic blender option for making single sized smoothies and sauces. I used to cook so much more with a Blendjet as a vegan making customized sauces and dressings. This just grosses me out. I try to use it and I don’t. I stopped a smoothie and sauce habit of years when I bought this and upgraded my Vitamix to a Nama C2. A year of regrettable blenders in trying to get healthier. Anyways the grossest thing about this, is that no matter what I make, since the blender is in the lid and there is a straw hole in the lid, when I flip it to start blending, liquids and fruit, seeds, whatever gets into that hole. So it doesn’t get mixed into the thing I’m making and when flipped right side up adds back its texture which is often off putting. BUT the big big thing is that since I don’t use the straw hole for drinking out of, it doesn’t resonate with me each time that there should be anything in it. And since the whole motor and battery are right next to that straw hole, somehow you’re supposed to clean that and the blades really well while not getting the cable charge hole wet at all, and too many times when I go to open this it smells rot, and since it’s stainless steel the smell really seeps in and is hard to correct. I keep looking for a non plastic lid without a straw hole to replace this because I hate waste, but it was a waste of a purchase for me and now I feel even more stuck considering spending more money on alternative plastic products when I have this already. I have it soaking let again and hope it’ll be different, but I think I’ve been disappointed 40+ times by this by now and good with the results maybe twice.
