The keyboard on this HP Pavilion is not designed properly. When one places one's fingers on the keys to type, one's right thumb, where it attaches to the person's hand, covers a large portion of the touchpad area. Because of this, the thumb is nearly constantly bumping the touchpad causing errors in typing.
Also, this computer is kind of slow bringing up webpages, etc...

This is a great daily use computer. The size is perfect. I often sit in bed with my laptop and its not heavy or bulky. Perfect! The backlight is a must have if you ever use your computer after dark. There's nothing negative to say about the Pavilion. Transitioning to a new computer is seamless these days. Files transfer over with minimal effort so do personal settings.
