I recently broke my laptop and bought this one to replace it and it’s better than what I had I love it, I do wish I was able to get a better color but it’s not a big deal
This computer is such a nice upgrade from my previous Hp Notebook (that was getting to be around 7 years old!). I did upgrade my computer have 512 GB of storage because I take a lot of pictures! I know if I would have stayed with the standard 256 GB that my storage would be all used up after transferring my documents and pictures from my other computer to this one. The upgraded storage is so nice to have! The speed is super nice, and it works great. Some issues I have with this laptop is that the fan is a little loud. I don't know if it's because it's overheating or what (yes, I do work with it in my lap, but it also becomes loud when working on a table with proper air flow), but it makes me a little nervous. Another thing that does irk me a little is that the battery life isn't that great. Sure, the battery lasts about 4-5 hours depending on what you're doing, which is great! But I'll have it all charged up and then shut it down and when I turn it back on my battery is already a quarter dead. I've looked online and this seems to be a common issue with fast boot up or something related to that, but I can't figure out how to fix it. I also bought the warranty for 3 years and am unable to install it on my computer, so that really bugs me. Apart from those issues, I have run into other small issues, but those are more my preferences than actual issues. I thought that the laptop was super easy to set up. Having already had an Hp product, it was super easy for me to just sign into my Microsoft account on my new computer and have all my web bookmarks transferred over. Overall, this is a good laptop for home users!
This laptop really hit all of the points I was looking for.
Major Pros -Touchscreen is responsive. -The keyboard is great and feels comfortable to work with -Quick buttons are great -Quick to boot up! -Vibrant screen -Lightweight and clean design -The keypad is one of the main reasons why I wanted to get this because of all the data and marketing I worth with -Didn't start with any filler apps like games.
Cons -I was looking to purchase a keyboard cover and I am not able to find anything that matches this computers model. Everything is just slightly off. -The mouse pad does feel a little thin but doesn't detract from how it works -A couple of times since having it I have turned the computer on and it will reset my background. Not sure if anything else was changed but that was the only noticeable thing. Not sure what caused that. -Volume is okay but nothing special, you are definitely going to want to use headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. They work well but nothing to really shout about.
