It's constantly popping up ads, it's wanting permission to send personal information all the time, The Voice access feature keeps stalling and I have to turn it off and turn it back on again. When casting from Google Chrome, I can't minimize the window otherwise the sound cuts out constantly and you can't watch the video. It also forces you to upload to the cloud as a default and I don't like that.
I got home just a few days ago and I've been working on it. As soon as I was able to download Google Chrome, everything came back up and now I'm running smoothly. I did have to change my internet provider and that made a big difference. I guess you do get what you pay for. I'm 70 years of age but I've been operating computers since 1995 so it wasn't to difficult to figure out. I am thrilled with my new purchase and would recommend HP to anyone looking to buy.
This is a good midrange reasonably priced laptop. I use it primarily when travelling and it has all the Office products I need on the road. The screen has great colours, the weight and thickness make it very portable. Charging was fast and it lasted the advertised time for what I do (Office, video, web browsing). This model also comes with 16GB memory and a 1TB SSD which is plenty for my uses.
Liked the look and feel of the laptop, with a 15” monitor and full keyboard with numeric pad was better than my last 14” one. The AMD Ryzon 7 processor seemed to be faster and more responsive. It was a simple process to setup the new laptop and will be useful for my University studies.
I found this new laptop is a dream to use. Everything setup and installed the updates with ease. All my files and programs worked with no issues on this new laptop. It's really light weight compared to my old one. The only thing I haven't tried yet is the wireless mouse. I'm sure that will work just fine if and when I need it.
