I bought this computer because it was a good price and i no longer need power. I use for personal office documents and streaming. Only (but major) weakness is the touchpad/mouse. I may have to click several times to put the cursor where i want. And the cursor will frequently jump to a different spot in word or exce, documents.
It's okay for the price but it has a few bugs/drawbacks. It needs more USB ports, it often rejects anything attached by USB like a wireless mouse or keyboard and a CD/DVD drive would be nice. I know they're not in huge demand but when you need one it should be there. The screen is too bright and you really can't adjust it very well.
This laptop is well worth the price and HP is a wonderful brand. I have a printer from 2012 that's still running smoothly. I'm not computer literate and this laptop has a lot of bells and whistles I have yet to discover. I wish I could get the hang on how to reduce the screen when it expands and I'm not sure what I did to make it do that.
Already have 2 HP laptops. Unfortunately one is starting to go..Just purchased this 15.6 screen .The colors are fantastic and machine is so quick compared to my two other laptops. Perfect addition and easy to set-up when it arrived

Good laptop for the price. Touchpad is not very good. Hard to click, clicks register only 50% of the time. Taps works most of the time - approx 75% of the time. Key size and layout in the bottom left area is weird compared to others and makes it very hard to get used to - especially if you use other keyboards/laptops for work etc. Keys are loud when pressed. Everything else appears to be good, will update when warranty is over :)
