The new laptop works as expected. I do wish it had come with a backlit keyboard. Then came the way W11 Pro immediately tried to upload my files from my backup drive to OneDrive. But, that is on Microsoft.

I replaced my 10 year old HP 15 with a new custom built used for video editing. Just really enjoy that it's thinner, lighter, smaller power supply, maintains a charge longer, much, much faster, better resolution, lighted keyboard, etc. All around better. And after de-bloating and bypassing Microsoft login, it has only what I want on it and nothing else.

This laptop is so thin and light despite the large screen size! It is worth getting a few upgrades in the customization tab (12gb RAM and 256gb ssd), and the backlit keyboard was worth paying extra. If you are tech-savvy, you can open up the back replace the ssd with an alternative with more memory easily for cheap. I am no longer a student, and got this for writing and portability, but I wish I had this when I was in college. So far I have used it for writing, light gaming, and surfing the internet/streaming. It has met my needs with no issue.
