Usually been happy with this but there was a bug in the software that wouldn't let me E-file my state return. Good luck trying to call the software support, I gave up after a half hour.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

The software has lots of information built in and I was able to read it before making my choice.
Easy to open individual forms and the checks for error at the end are very useful. Glad I bought
this software. I have been using H&R Block Deluxe tax prep software 6 years now.

I am generally happy with h&r software but it didn't allow me to file electronically and was not very specific about what the problem was. Little direction on what the issue was. I suspect it did not like the way I completed the form 5329 but the directions were not specific enough to guide one to complete the form. It was the only new form i used in compared to previous years. I think a software should be able to pin point an issue if it's data is causing a file rejection.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
