This is my second year to use H&R Block software and it is easy to use. I would like to see the state efile fee reduced to a reasonable amount. Luckily, I work about a mile from our state revenue HQ and submit in person. The federal efile fee being included is great.

I've been using this product for many years now, and the interface has changed very little in that time. To me this is a strength, not a weakness. Because the interface is the same, I am very familiar with it. In fact, I often review prior year taxes side-by-side with current year tax entries for the more complex sections to ensure I get the entries right.
One of my favorite features is "Take me to" -- allowing quick consistent access to any area of my taxes, along with the memo-pad which allows me to 'remember' areas to revisit, and of course the error review feature.
Finally, I like the fact that I can download the software and not rely on cloud services, as storing the sensitive data that is required for taxes on "someone else's computer" would make me very uncomfortable
One improvement I would suggest is that if any portion of one's refund is applied to next year's taxes, this number should show up in the state overview as it does in the federal in the 'at a glance' window
Great product - keep it coming!
