Long time TaxCut customer saved by phone help line

I've been using TaxCut for maybe 20 years. Works well, given the complexity of the tax code. This year I hit a roadblock. The IRS would not accept my filing. Error message said I had wrong value for previous year AGI.
After triple checking, I called the 800 number. First time I ever had to do this. I was walked through the process to get a PIN from IRS and use to successfully e-file. Even including a few minutes on hold, the phone call took less time than it would to go to post office to mail return.
Did I say this was on Saturday evening? Then I could relax for the rest of the weekend.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents

This is much like it's been for years - the main quirk is that some of the cursor motion stepping through forms is odd. Some stuff it does well, like tracking the little untaxable basis in my traditional IRA.
I'll be using it next year.

Prices for state programs is too high. Prices to electronically submit taxes is too high. Your program to convert Federal to State's taxes is cumbersome and hard to understand what is needed.
