Excellent for federal return, OK for NYS return

Federal program is excellent. Easy to navigate, easy to find explanations, generally good for directly viewing most forms. The NYS program gets the job done, but without explanations.

Use this every tax year. Disappointed ordered Delux was billed two times for it . I did get a refund. Thought everything was fine upon doing my taxes I discovered paid for Delux And State at higher price. Don't use for State return. Rethinking using next yr.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents

I bought this software and am unable to file my state return because the software is incorrect. The software won't select the correct state return based upon the questions I answer. I am a CPA and know what return I need to file and was using the software just to efile my return. I paid for the state software and am unable to use it.

Coat me money because of what I can only assume is a software bug. Unable to reach anyone live to resolve problem and brought file to physical location and was told they would have to start entire return over because they don’t use the same software

Need to provide larger font

Entering data in the appropriate fields and even reading the text on the computer screen is very difficult. You should use a larger font for everything, especially for the fields where the user must enter numbers.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
