For the second year I have experienced a major flaws in your software that has impacted my capacity to electronically submit my tax forms. I was impacted by your outage last year. I am beyond disappointed in this happening again.
I will give credit to the dupport team for trying to help me address the problem snd working with me. After an initial call, they continued to research the issue to nake sure i was filing correctly. The support team reached out to me within 48 business hours after beginning their investigation that my issue was now a know bug and it will be addressed next year.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I've used H&R Block for several years and always feel comfortable with the results. I buy the download, which is easy to install and use. It has features that make completing my taxes less cumbersome and time consuming, such as using data from prior year's return, so less information needs to be manually entered, and electronic submission of the federal and state returns.

I have used this program for years. Inertia has kept me from looking for something better. Improvements I would like to see:
1. Better description of the itemized lists. When you are using paint by number, you don't keep track of which form you have itemized. Add description.
2. The problems that surface during the efiling process should have come up earlier during the interview process in the program.
3. Once entry is made, the program will not flag again. This is problem particularly for amount of tax refund to be applied/not applied to next year's return. Those manual entries get lost and do not always surface in the accuracy review.
4. Ability to cross reference or find things could be better.

It was hard to make changes in the program. I had to drill down to the form. TurboTax was better at this. Also TurboTax let me save several scenarios and I couldn't find a way to do this with H&R.
Cons: Time consuming

I been a user of the HR Block tax program for many years. The only negative commet I have about use of the program is the translation of the data into the New York tax program. There is some reworking of the figures passed on from the Federal program, which is somewhat annoying. A non-professional preparer may miss the translations.
