I have used this program for years it is good but not always easy for inexperienced users. I wanted to fix an error I made with IRA contribution but changing the information didn’t change the calculation. I had to find the form and delete it to get the program to calculate correctly.

It is my 10th year using TaxCut and it was quick and easy to fill out and file. The worst part was organizing the information ahead of completing the interview.

1. Software updates for my Mac version of the software were buggy. All updates required retries before they finally loaded. On several occasions I had to abandon the software update on the program and go to the website and it, at which time the update was successful. 2. When I was ready to electronically file the federal return, the signature page of the program asked for random 5-digit pins for my wife and me. However, we have six-digit IP Pins issued by the IRS which I could not insert at this page. It was only after I discovered that they should be added in an earlier "Miscellaneous" section was I able to successfully electronically file the return. In the future, I suggest that you make this requirement more rational and simple by moving the IRS IP Pin information to the signature page so that customers who have them can insert them as an alternative to your requirement for random 5-digit numbers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
