I have used your program for several years, and I have one complaint: I use a Mac computer, and on mine, many of the page printouts are not usable, since the right (or left) side of the page isn't visible or doesn't print. This seems to be the case each year. Am I supposed to make adjustments on my Mac or my printer (an Epson?} My solution is to get the pages I need from the Federal (and/or NY in my case} websites, and they all seem to print correctly, and are useable. Otherwise, I like your program and will continue to use it. Am I doing something wrong?

The program walks you through the process pretty well. It is frustrating at times because it imports previous year data that is no longer applicable and creates confusion by adding forms for those items. My issue is a small business I had that I terminated. At the end it verifies your return by taking you to the actual forms instead of the questionnaire. This also adds to confusion as far as what information is expected and why the program didn't catch the issue during the questionnaire. I have used this for a long time but I think I will give Turbotax a go next year.

When entries are marked as tenitive, it was not clear that I needed to clear the mark before I could change it.

Been using HRBlock software since 2014. Good software; but extra charge for State E-file always a disappointment.

I have been using the H &R block software for several years. I bought the Deluxe + State software from an email offer. It was a great price. The program prompts you through the process for all your income sources and deductions and then highlights any issues you may have. The e-filing is very convenient. The state return is equally thorough with an option to e file as well.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Been using this program for years, and am mostly satisfied, and I've recommended to others who use it now.
One complaint! I had to click the "SEND" button multiple times to get it to not fail sending both my IRS and State taxes. That was caused by my ISP (difficulty in uploads), not the tax program. The problem is, I was billed 3 times! Yes, I've seen you statement that when multiple charges are made, ultimately only one will apply. That's NOT good enough. The program needs to NOT even charge, or at least submit an immediate refund, when anything like this happens.
