I use this program every year, it’s easy to use, incorporates last years info, if you used same program, I only file federal since we can do state online for free
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

The deluxe is cheaper than TurboTax and does more. The last I tried the deluxe years ago it didn’t do publicly traded partnerships. Thus the four stars. It imports from TT just fine

Confusing

when. entering 1099-R for IRA and Retirement fund. I was told that I had an over accumulation and owed a penalty. after some searching on the wed I got a solution to this error. Looks like it was a common problem with the software.

Been a H&R Block tax cut user for many years. Results mostly good. I've never compared those results with other brands, so I can only presume I'm not getting hosed. My one complaint is the state install process. Last year an again this year the download / install of the state package was a mess. Would not do the install; charged me several times. Finally called support and after an hour on the phone with a very helpful lady, we were able to get my state software downloaded.
