Easy to use. I would suggest that you might want to add a line of text at the point when submission of the Federal and State filings are to be selected. Specifically, suggesting that it may be easier to submit the Federal first, wait for it to be accepted and then submit the State. I say this because I made a simple error that passed your review on the Federal which caused it to be rejected by the Feds. Because I had submitted the State at that same time it also got rejected even though the error on the Federal was not impacting that return. The follow up materials you supplied at that point enabled me to correct the Federal , but the error sheet you provided for the State was blank - somewhat confusing. It then took about 3 days for the credit card charges to clear out. Not a huge deal, and next year I will do them separately, but maybe this would help someone else avoid the minor aggravation I had.

It’s a shame, I’ve been using H&R Block’s software for a few years now. Very disappointed in the software this year and the online help.

I have used H&R Block Tax software even back when it was called TaxCut. For simple returns it has been good. My only complaint is when you want to talk with a live person, that can be a hassle. If you get a live person they usually don't have the knowledge to answer your question unless its a simple one.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

We have been using H&R Block for about 10 years now and it has been very good for my whole family to use. Pretty easy to use and good to have up to date information and up to 5 different federal filings allowed at a reasonable cost.
