I've been using deluxe+state download version for a few years now with no significant difficulties. I will list 4 problems with the option to compare with the previous year:
1. There should be highlighting or other method to distinguish items that are the same or different.
2. Display of current year values isn't wide enough to show full text of many items.

3. Qualified charitable donation is not included in the comparison.
4. Charitable gifts by cash or check, which are not deductible on my federal form because I'm taking
the standard deduction, should still be shown because they are deductible on my Massachusetts form.

And one problem with form 1116:
All my foreign taxes are from mutual fund distributions. The software did not fill in date paid for these, but complained when I tried to efile. It took some searching to discover that the magic text to enter into this field is "1099 TAXES".

I've had problems with this program for years. It requires being placed on the Desktop to work at all, and requires contacting you to get my free state program. This happens EVERY. YEAR. I expected y'all to have fixed this long since. My home directory is on a different volume from the Macintosh HD volume. That's the only difference from a regular install. NO other program has a problem with this.

Purchased the deluxe plus state and the software will not let me efile the state tax form IT-203 as an out of state resident. I wasted my money on this product. I had to fill out the form and mail it anyway. - Beware!
Cons: Hard to prepare
