There were glitches in the software and no support easily available . Quite surprising since I have used the product for 10 years

Changed over to H&R from TTax a few years ago and I haven't had any regrets for doing so. Differences between the two software program are pretty imperceptible and I hadn't encountered any issues with my completed income tax submissions since starting with H&R, Very pleased with H&R Block software and would highly recommend it to those who want better value for their money with the same results.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Double charges

I up graded as requested to premium and it made me pay again to file? That was supposed to be in the upgrade I purchased??? I had to resubmit so I had to put my credit card in twice. How many times will I get charged?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's just awful. I had hoped you improved it from last year but it still is really awful. You really should let people know that it does not work well on a MAC.

Purchased program as I have done for many years in a row. Program took me through all the steps and gave me opportunity to itemize--no need since no relevant deductions. One issue was portion where it asked about IRA distributions. I filled in the part about Excess Contributions--I had not made ANY to my IRAs since I retired. But it seemed I needed to fill in the numbers for my distributions. This section was confusing and the explanation didn't help.
