Not taxed interest posted "taxable" on NC D-400

On HRBlock federal tax worksheet, 1040 Schedule B, Part 1, 1099-inst form U.S. Treasures, carried to NC D-400, Sch S, Part B as "taxable" interest, not to NC D-400, Sch S, Part B, line 18 as non-taxable interest which is the correct line.
It took me four hours to find the solution which was on the federal 1040 form by removing the interest from the "taxable" line to line 18 which is non-taxable. Once this was manually done, the NC D-400 instantly corrected the amount due to a refund!
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mostly good. It momentarily told me I had overpaid CASDI and gave me a refund. Then out of the blue it removed it and at first I could not figure out why it subtracted $1000 from my refund. It said it removed it but did not say why. So that type of thing needs to be fixed. I had to start the section over to see where the CASDI was $1000 and then I realized it no longer considered it an over payment.
