This is the first time that your software for Mac was terrible. It kept crashing frequently. It took 6-7 attempts to complete a section. Next year I am not likely to buy it.

I prefer to do my own taxes on my computer at home on my time as I get to it, not online, not in somebody else's office. This software is good for doing that.

I’ve used the software for years. It’s fairly easy to use but I do get stuck sometimes. The chat is helpful

the activation code that is needed for the free e-file has been a rocky process. I have had to call twice to use the code twice. The second time I was on the phone for half an hour. Don't know if it'll work for the e-files 3-5. Easier in other years.

1. In many of the screens for entering data (e.g. 1099-DIV, 1099-R, etc.) very often there are multiple entries for the same company, just with a different account number and/or owner. On the opening screen for that entry, all the previous year’s entries are shown, but there can be (in my case) 4-5 from the same company. The only way to pick the correct one to enter or edit, is to open each one until the correct one is found. Suggestion, provide a ‘Nickname’ option for each entry. That way I can distinguish if it is mine or my spouse’s, and which of our several accounts. (My bank does this for all my payee’s, for example, so I can tell which account to pay at our hospital even though the payee for each is identical) 2. When a new account gets added to these entries, it gets added to the bottom of the list. The same company could then be 1st, 2nd, 10th and 13th, not very convenient for data entry. Please provide an option for moving entries together. 3. In these same screens, often an entry will not be used for one year only to return in a subsequent year. Please provide a third option (other than “Edit” and “Delete”) called ”Not Used/Retain” to retain an entry for future use, but keep it from being flagged as a missing entry during the review. 4. You provide no easy feedback path on your website. That is bad for getting customer feedback and improvement suggestions.
