My only real complaint with this software, and maybe it's Mac specific, is that when I go to print (to PDF), that it will cut off part of the tax form being printed. The workaround is that I have to delete the printer from my computer and then print to PDF where it shows everything on the page as it should. Then I must reinstall the printer if I choose to print it on paper. It's been like this for years so every year I hope to find it's been fixed but it hasn't yet as of '25.

If needed, forms, instructions or help is just a click away. E-filing is easy and speeds up receiving a refund. I use the planning section to estimate quarterly tax payments for the following year. It’s very accurate and easy to use. I highly recommend using H&R Block tax software for all your tax requirements.

I have used this product for several years. I have always been pleased with the ease of use . The only thing I wish would change is for user to be given choice whether user wants to itemize deductions or use standard. Some of us customers know whether or not going through all the steps to determine that choice would be advantageous or not and could save time not doing so when that is the case.

I had trouble editing the 4 1099-R forms. At first it was not clear that they wanted me to insert the financial data. Then when I did complete one form, it did not promt or direct me to the next form. I finally got the remaining forms complete by clicking "go to" and finding each of the remaing and completeing each forms. Then when the entire program was done, I got a revirw that I did not complete the impored 1099-R forms. So I went back to each form AGAIN and revived financial data of each form, but this time I clicked on "save" for each form. It seemed to work since ithey were eliminated from the review section.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!
