I used Turbotax in the past and was not happy with it. I switched to H&R and I think it is easier. Second time I've used and I have no reason to try anything else. Seems more intuitive than Turbotax. Everything imported and populated right. It cost less as a bonus.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve been using this product for four years straight. In previous additions of the software, I was prompted to upload or fill in many different forms. This year‘s software edition did not prompt me for a bunch of different forms that I received so it was a little more difficult this year. in the end. I’m confident in my tax return, but it was just a little more difficult this year than prior years.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

I have used H&R Block software for the past 15 years. The interviewing process of taking one through to complete taxes is easy to understand and I have to do is plug in the numbers from my tax documents. I always can close out my taxes with confidence, usually with a refund, and have never been audited for any mistakes. I highly recommend this software.
