difficult to make changes in data.. Could be a lot more straight forward. Been using for years and really has not improved. May switch to Turbo next year.

For the last 2 years now the HR Block software has made an error in my state tax return. It apparently cannot handle out of state income and credits. My state refund as calculated by the HR Block software has been wrong, too high. The state has had to re-calculate and lower my refund each time. I have worked out of state as a W-2 contractor and gotten refunds from the out of state income, but my in-state calculations by the software were in error. I am likely to use other software for my 2025 taxes.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
