Terrible Experience

Purchased the software. After I finally finished the long, confusing process it was too late to submit on time because of a “software technical issue.” Had to pay CA submittal fee 5 times before they accepted it. Same maximized return as a free service. Did not feel confident on this years submissions.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The product does not accept section 199A data from Master Limited Partnerships and estates or any entity issuing a Form K-1. The error message instructs one to consult their tax professional!
Also, there is a second up-charge to file the state return electronically, over and above the initial state charge.
Scrolling is unavailable on the various screens. One has to drag the slide bar everywhere.
