Software is good I been using it for years

I like the software and the way it copies last years basic info into the new year. I'm not sure that I'm maximizing my return?
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Handles all the straight forward stuff just great. Titles says for Investors, but for me it does a very poor job of handling a partnership K-1 that has foreign transactions and investment interest. Instead of using the data I input in the best spot for me the app asks me on what form I want to put the info and how I want to use it.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I buy this software every year. Makes doing taxes a breeze! I used to have someone else do my taxes, and now I do my own because it is so easy. I won’t do my taxes without it!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

state and fed errors/ state filing errors

1. I live in Ga and have to file Fed and State. I work in Fla. No state tax. Your software keeps giving me an error about no Tax ID for my employer or tax amount. if they do not withold taxes for state they do not have an ID even for my Ga state tax
2. for the last 2 years I have used your software to file state and federal. I have been given a fine both times by Ga state for not having the taxes done correctly on time and having to pay in a different amount... I have filed well before 4-15 deadline. but by the time mid late may rolls around I get the bill and fine in the mail. fix this please. I am only answering the questions truthfully and correctly on federal and state. what is the problem

Easy transition from TurboTax

We were diehard users of TurboTax for as long as I can remember... but decided to give HR Block software a go for 2018 because it was cheaper than TurboTax and I felt confident I’d have everything we needed for filing with the Deluxe product. Went smoothly and easily - even though we’re paying twice as much to Uncle Sam this year. (Grrrr....)
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

IRS had to fix H&R Block return

I had a few issues with my return this year. I was able to e-file my Federal return as expected. But had to physically mail in my state return due to lack of support on filing a m1529 in the software. I've heard from friends that they were able to e-file with that tax credit in other software. Most annoyingly...I received a letter from the IRS stating there was an error in the 1040 form, and they owed me ~$1k more than H&R block said they did. WOW! I've been using this software for years but need to strongly reconsider in the future...

Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund
