I have had several HP Pavilion laptops over the years and have found that all of them have been reliable and good value for money. I upgraded to a 17 inch Envy (8GB RAM - 1TB) back in 2018 and although having given me great service, I felt the need for a newer version. The specifications / features between both are roughly the same, but the main difference between the older Envy and this one is, that it doesn't have a CD/RW disc player, which I miss greatly. This newer version is also a little lighter in weight than the previous one. However, I am very satisfied with my purchase which also came with a free 3 year Care Pack which was part of the bundle.
