Only had it for a month, like it so far. It performs well. Only concern it has a pretty big screen but it is what HP recommended for 512GB storage.

The laptop is good, except for a perfectly UNUSABLE keyboard. The characters on the keyboard are completely invisible from a normal typing distance. I had to buy some stickers to put on the keys so I can see to type.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was a lot more sluggish than I had expected, especially the hard drive. The SSD is ok but the hard disk is very slow, you get a noticeable lag anytime you do things that use the hard disk. I give it a 3 because I am pretty much using it for email only, if I had this as my main PC I would give it a 2.

Overall a nice laptop, but it would be nice if there was a slight indentation along the front edge to make it easier to open it. Also, the pad is too sensitive and difficult to maneuver the curser. I purchased a mouse, which is a lot easier and time-saving.

I was surprised that there is no Ethernet slot to connect to my wireless router, not sure i like to have edge as the default software. Cannot turn up the sound to a volume to a level i would like.

The default music, documents, photos, etc., should already be on the Large storage drive and not on the C-drive. Just a pain to move it there so as not to clutter the c-drive. I wish it had touch screen and a lighted keyboard, also wish there was a SD slot. I'm lucky I had a USB DVD drive to use for loading Windows programs. The computer is fast, no problem with that, just wish I had made a smarter decision and bought something with more bells and whistles. Not much in the way of instructions with it, a beginner would have problems...
