Pros: Good quality no-glare screen (the main reason of my choice).
Cons: No battery saving feature, as a result the battery lifetime is reduced. Vents only at the bottom: overheat on soft surfaces. HUGE set of parasitic and spy soft! I spent hours cleaning up only most active of them.
She is perfect. I am expecting that we'll share many years together. I added a few features that I am thankful for the back light on keyboard is a plus.
This is the fourth HP laptop i have purchased in the past 25 years and is likely the best. Faster starts and interaction within varying software. Ease of moving around in the systems and establishing myself on the new PC with speciality software that I use.
Our first new laptop in 5+yrs, therefore the speed is refreshing. The only complaint I have is the battery life is relatively short. The setup was fairly painless, the quick guide was essential. The laptop is used for communications and research.
GREAT Product for the price point and my needs! I am going back to school and the essentials are all there. The large screen is perfect for seeing more of what I am working on at one time.
I was surprised to find that a laptop with a high end processor was so lacking in I/O. The HDMI was only 1.4 so it didn't really support a 4k external monitor and the USB C port was essentially non functional as it too would not support an external monitor. I did order another unit that I believe will meet my needs. But I suggest you quit selling unit like the HP 17 Laptop PC 17-cn3097nr. Sell such meager units with less processor and at a much lower price so buyers don't get fooled into thinking they are getting a state of the art machine.
